Anderson University invites applications for full-time Director of Financial Aid & Scholarships. Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, liberal arts university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The University seeks a qualified candidate with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning.
The Director of Financial Aid & Scholarships serves as chief compliance officer for Title IV federal aid regulations and works closely with state and national agencies. Candidates should be prepared to develop strategies to support student access and success and contribute to the achievement of AU’s enrollment and retention goals. The Director is responsible for administration, planning, and leadership of a comprehensive financial aid team and program. Key responsibilities also include coordinating strategic efforts with financial aid analysis, continuous improvement, and benchmarking, including net tuition revenue and discount rate data; and serving as an integral member of the Enrollment Management Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least eight years financial aid related experience, Master’s preferred, and significant understanding of the administration of a comprehensive student financial aid program. Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills also required, as well as impeccable personal integrity, trustworthiness, and high ethical standards.
