CampusEdu is currently seeking faculty to facilitate courses in our winter term and beyond.
Upcoming term dates are:
Winter Term 2020- December 7th - January 19th
Spring Term 2021- February 8th - April 16th
Summer 1 Option- May 3rd - June 13th
Summer 2 Option- June 14th -July 25th
Summer 8 week option- June 14th - August 8th
Fall 6 week delivery option- September 6th - October 17th
Fall 8 week delivery option- October 18th - December 12th
CampusEdu online instructors provide high-quality academic experiences and support students as they work toward their educational goals. Courses delivered through CampusEdu are fully developed so that as an instructor, you can focus on student interaction and not curriculum creation. Instructors can work from anywhere with a stable internet connection.
Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:
Provide a high level of student outreach and connect with students
Host scheduled synchronous class meetings
Be engaging, offering an innovative presence in the online classroom
Provide substantial student feedback and offer a quick turnaround on grades (7 days or less)
Respond to student inquiries within 24-48 hours
Notify Student Support if a student has been absent for more than 7 days
Additional duties may include (depending on enrollment):
Training and supervision of teaching assistants
Teaching assistants are added to each course once the course enrollment reaches 21 students.
Masters, Doctorate preferred
Two years of online/blended teaching experience
Currently qualified to provide instruction at an accredited CCCU or ABHE institution
Hosting and leading virtual meetings (e.g. Zoom, Hangouts, Teams)
Communication/Collaboration tools (e.g. Google Docs, Slack, Gmail)
Learning Management Systems (Canvas, OpenEdX, Blackboard)
24 openings. Telecommuting is allowed.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation ranges from $1,750 to $4,100 per course depending on the number of students and Teaching Assistants in the course. Instructors are paid bi-weekly and are considered W-2 employees of Campus Edu. Instructors serving in these roles must be employed (as an adjunct or full-time faculty member) at an accredited CCCU or ABHE institution.
A background check is required for employment and may include licensure/certification verification, verification of current employment, and transcripts.
