Anderson University located in Anderson, Indiana seeks an Assistant Registrar responsible for oversight, planning, development, and coordination of administrative systems used in the Office of the University Registrar. Serves as liaison with Information Technology Services, as primary resource for the creation, maintenance and development of reports, queries, and databases. The position provides functional and technical expertise supporting Peoplesoft, National Student Clearinghouse, and Softdocs. Responsible for grade processing and coding/maintaining the degree audit. Supervise and collaborate with staff supporting student registration, graduation and records. Collaborates with University community for the continuing implementation and optimization of student support systems.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth understanding and proficiency in data management and delivery of student support services. A baccalaureate degree is required; other professional certifications are preferred. Relevant experience in a Registrar’s Office or similar office in a higher education environment. Experience with a contemporary student information system, with experience with Peoplesoft, National Student Clearinghouse, and Softdocs preferred. Experience in supervision and management of employees desired. Excellent writing, analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to translate technical issues into user-friendly language. Highly self-motivated and self-directed. Able to manage multiple priorities remaining attentive to detail. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Ability to work with students, staff and faculty of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Must meet University life-style expectations.
