Faculty Careers - Business, Faculty Careers - Other
We welcome candidates to teach online in our growing adult learner degree programs in
Business Administration, Accounting, and Finance. Available courses include the following:
• Statistics for Business & Economics
• Principles of Accounting I and II
• Intermediate Accounting I and II
• Principles of Microeconomics
• Principles of Macroeconomics
• Intermediate Microeconomics
This is a remote position; candidates are not expected to be in residence to teach these online.
courses, although voluntary opportunities to teach on campus may be available.
The ideal candidate will have:
a master’s or doctorate degree in the relevant field (doctorate preferred);
a passion for teaching and mentoring students;
a demonstrated mature Christian faith and strong commitment to the Christian mission of the college;
a value for diversity and inclusion;
experience teaching in higher education with preference given to those who have taught in the online environment using Canvas;
and a spirit of collegiality.
Interested applicants must submit a Curriculum Vita that includes the names of three references
and a letter of application addressing their fit with the Christian mission of Gordon College and
the position listed above.
