Are you equipped to instruct others in the knowledge, skills, and practices desirable in the field of sport management?
If so, the Toccoa Falls College Business Administration Department invites your application for a full-time faculty position in the field of Sport Management starting August 1, 2020. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include teaching traditional undergraduate courses, student advising, and service to the college and department including faculty committees. Candidates should be able to teach courses in the various business administration and physical education domains of sport management. The typical teaching load for this position is 13 credit-hours per semester.
Qualifications: A master’s degree in Sport Management or similar area is a minimum requirement. The ideal candidate will hold an earned Ph.D. or D.B.A. from a regionally accredited university in Sport Management or similar area; possess professional management experience; and be academically and/or professionally qualified by current SACSCOC standards. Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level is highly desirable. Qualified candidates will evidence strong teaching skills, the ability to integrate faith and learning, a vibrant evangelical Christian faith, and a sincere commitment to the mission of the College.

Toccoa Falls College is an evangelical, independent, and interdenominational college, affiliated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination. It seeks to maintain the biblical emphasis of a Christian college while offering the broad range of professional studies of a liberal arts college. Toccoa Falls College is located in the foothills of the northeast Georgia mountains, 95 miles north of Atlanta, GA and 65 miles south of Greenville, SC. The campus is situated on 1,100 beautiful acres and includes a 186’ high waterfall. The College is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU).
