Senior Associate Registrar, School of Graduate Studies
The School of Graduate Studies at Messiah College invites applications for the full time, year-round position of Senior Associate Registrar, School of Graduate Studies.
Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Registrar, the Senior Associate Registrar for Graduate Studies leads strategic planning, staff development, and assists with policy implementation and decision-making as it relates to graduate studies. This position serves as the leader of technical operations, works closely with technology services to maintain and enhance departmental technologies, engages in project management, and ensures the accuracy of data maintained in the student system as it relates to graduate level programs. Also functions as the general operations manager and staff supervisor for Graduate Studies Registrar’s Office.
Qualifications: Master’s degree, two to five years supervisory and performance management experience within an academic environment and experience with enterprise software systems including data reporting is required. Five to eight years supervisory and performance management within a registrar environment, experience with enterprise software systems including data reporting is preferred.
Skills and Characteristics: A high level of technical competency with an advanced level of creative and analytical problem solving skills; proven success in a direct supervisory role with experience leading a team; Effective leadership skills, including proven ability to direct and motivate colleagues; proven ability in balancing multiple important priorities while illustrating meticulous attention to detail; extensive experience in project implementation with advanced skills in project prioritization, planning, and resource allocation; proven experience with the evaluation and implementation of new technologies; creative and innovative approach to business practices; ability to work cooperatively with a wide range of constituents internal and external; proven commitment to excellent student customer service; high level of confidentiality
