Reporting to the President of the University, the Chief Financial Officer will lead all financial operations of the institution, including the development of short and long-term financial and operational strategies to meet the challenging trends in higher education. Serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, he or she will assist the President in the active management of the institution. System responsibilities include budgeting, accounting, and reporting for all operations; information technology and the institution’s CRM system; investment of operating and endowment funds; and capital projects and maintenance programs.

Founded in 1916 and located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains,
Montreat College is an independent, Christ-centered, liberal arts institution that educates students
through intellectual inquiry, spiritual formation, and preparation for calling and career, all to impact

Traditional undergraduate students attend classes in Montreat, a short distance from Asheville,
North Carolina. The total number of traditional students drawn to the campus has increased for
five consecutive years.
