Trinity Christian College Athletics is seeking a Head Women’s Basketball Coach. This is a full-time exempt position reporting to the Associate VP for Student Life and Athletics.
The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded set of skills that include a demonstrated ability to recruit, instruct, and develop student athletes; to develop a competitive athletic experience; to create and implement camps/community initiatives; to effectively lead and supervise coaching staff. These will best be evidenced by prior collegiate or high-level coaching.
The college is seeking candidates who are professing Christians and are committed to excellence in athletics. Candidates should support the goals of a Christian liberal arts education and demonstrate a mature articulation of faith in athletics.
Required qualifications include a completed bachelor’s degree (a completed master’s degree is preferred) and previous full time leadership and coaching experience.

A brief written statement that describes how he/she might work toward the college’s purpose and outcomes for student life and athletics through his/her coaching. These purpose and outcomes are:
To cultivate a community in which student [athletes] flourish as they encounter the Triune God with their whole lives and discover the joy of their vocation. We embody this purpose in our work in confident hope that all students – blessed by God, redeemed by Christ, and equipped by the Spirit – will:
Communicate about their emerging vocation as a joyful response to God’s calling
Participate in creative and redemptive activity that develops community
Demonstrate a growing maturity that expresses itself in consistency between belief and behavior
Engage in diverse communities
Tell the story of who they are and how they are being formed in Christ
