Assistant Director of Enrollment & Marketing Expected start date: April/May 2020 Full Time, Exempt Washington, DC
The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) seeks an Assistant Director of Enrollment and Marketing who is responsible for managing the enrollment and marketing responsibilities for our 10 BestSemester programs in 9 different international and domestic locations. BestSemester is known for faith-integrated, academically challenging global, experience-based programing with excellent faculty and staff. Program directors are supported by a Washington, D.C. based support team (marketing, enrollment, campus relations, crisis management and curricular development and planning).
The CCCU believes that experiential learning through domestic or global study abroad is a key contributor to intellectual and spiritual growth. A successful candidate will have a proven record of coordinating and implement marketing initiatives and successful meeting enrollment goals.
Marketing & Communications
Create and implement overall marketing plan and strategy for all target audiences including students,, faculty/administration, and parents.
Serve as the primary CCCU contact for Off-Campus Study Coordinators. Routinely draft sensitive communication regarding changes to program itineraries, safety issues, and the like.
Be the lead editor for academic-related, program costs, and policy web pages for all programs
Contribute ideas to the OCSC newsletter, and draft opening letter each quarter.
Coordinate with CCCU communications team on BestSemester stories for Advance magazine and e-Advance newsletter
Oversee the work of the Marketing Specialist as it relates to BestSemester.
Manage and oversee the Alumni Ambassadors program including, but not limited to: oversee the collection and ongoing maintenance of alumni data; recruit, hire, and train alumni ambassadors each semester; manage alumni transcript requests; and utilize alumni data for study abroad fairs, phone-a-thons, campus visits, and recruitment events.
Oversee program enrollments, statistics, registration, grade reports and permanent record
Oversee TerraDotta administration
Ensure all grade reports are processed on-time. Review any proposed changes to the grade report format, and liaise with campuses regarding how credit is awarded for our programs.
Maintain the school of record agreement with Biola University, and work with each individual SOR student to gain acceptance and help their campus understand the unique nature of the agreement.
Liaise with OCSCs through networking groups to gain an understanding of our various campus’ policies with regard to financial aid and program participation
Supervise and manage admissions coordinators including holding regular staff meetings and check ins and provide annual performance reviews.
Manage application and enrollment process across all programs, including the continued development of the BestSemester application system, e-signature documents, insurance requirements, and materials
Serve as the administrator and champion of the BestSemester CRM, assigning general inquiry leads to Admissions Coordinator and rolling out new features
Onboard all new staff on enrollment systems, communication plans, and processes.
Monitor the weekly stats and regularly meet with admissions coordinators on lead management techniques and best practices to increase enrollment.
Work with cabinet in setting realistic enrollment goals based on stats and trends.
Compile reports and data on top sending campuses, trends in program participation, and enrollment conversion rates.
Serve as the staff liaison to the Chief Enrollment Officers Commission.
Persons applying for the position should:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of 3 years of enrollment marketing experience; Master’s degree preferred
Have a strong appreciation for the Christian mission and purpose of the CCCU and its BestSemester programs
Have previous experience working in an admissions office or in global experiential education
Have previous experience managing a small team
Have experience managing social media
Have experience in managing an online application system or database and/or a Customer Relationship Management system (Dynamics 365 preferred)
Have a previous experience living, studying or working outside of the United States preferred
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Be detail-oriented, highly organized and flexible
Be a team-player who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Possess computer skills including: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database and web skills

Other requirements include:
Ability to travel up to 25% domestically; possibility for some international travel
