Dordt University has a full-time opening for a Director of Church Relations. The individual in this role is responsible for directing and overseeing the church relations of the university.
Duties include visiting churches from our current student body and building a connection and relationship with them. This individual will develop and lead church relations strategies, develop relations with more congregations and denominations beyond Dordt's current base, and collaborate with other Dordt offices to plan and coordinate visits and opportunities to enhance partnership connections.
Candidates must have a four-year degree with a minimum of three years of related experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking ability, is required. The person must be highly motivated, a self-starter, very organized and goal- orientated. Extensive travel will be required, both day trips and overnight travel.
