Bethany Lutheran College, a Christian liberal arts college, owned and operated by the Evangelical Lutheran Synod, invites applications for a full-time, nine-month faculty position in the Computer Science department beginning July 1, 2020.
This is an exciting position! As the lead faculty member in the Computer Science department, you will play a critical role in promoting and managing a fully developed program and shape the future of Computer Science at Bethany. Your task will be to lead a growing and popular program that embraces and supports Bethany’s mission and it’s goals for students. You have the opportunity to prepare them for exciting careers in a digital world through your teaching, scholarship, and mentorship.
Masters degree in computer science (or closely related field) required; doctoral degree is preferred.
Passion for teaching.
Experience in instructional course design in a higher education environment.
Experience with current and advanced topics in computer science.
