CCCU institutions are located around the world. Though they are diverse in size, scope, and mission, they are each committed to faith-integrated higher education.
The Policy Associate position is an internship that works closely with Jubilee USA's Deputy Director and on our advocacy campaigns. This position will include a wide range of research, writing, lobbying, outreach, organizing and policy education that supports Jubilee's campaign priorities.
Maintaining Jubilee's policy lists in relevant databases;
Updating advocacy and policy-related content for Jubilee website;
Researching and writing materials for outreach to policymakers and the public;
Tracking and reporting internally on Jubilee policy areas;
Communicating with partners about newest activities and campaigns;
Providing administrative support including:
Data entry: Entering new supporters and updating existing supporters in our databases
Office functions: Assisting with mailings and other related administrative work to support Jubilee's grassroots, development and policy activities
Event support: Preparing materials, assembling packets, and taking notes at Jubilee USA sponsored events
Attending events and related conferences on behalf of Jubilee USA.
Applicants must have: extensive knowledge of international debt and economic justice issues, strong attention to detail, strong written skills, demonstrated experience with research, and ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds. Completed undergraduate degree in economics, finance, international policy, or related field is a plus.
