The Rogers Department of Communications at Ouachita (pronounced WASH-a-taw) Baptist University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment to begin in August 2020. We seek an enterprising teacher with experience in digital media as well as one or more of the following areas: social media, data analytics, media writing, public speaking and/or broadcasting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an interest in helping to shape a growing department with more than 130 majors. Faculty responsibilities include a course load of four courses per semester, providing oversight for a digital student publication, academic advising and committee work.

PhD in Communications preferred; ABD, MA or related MFA considered. Minimum requirements are a master’s degree in Communications or a related field and knowledge of digital media. Rank will depend on qualifications.
