Charleston Southern University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Engineering to begin August 1, 2020.Charleston Southern seeks candidates who are professing Christians, committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of faith and learning.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Preference is for experience with accreditation, teaching and developing an undergraduate program.
Responsibilities: Teach 24 semester hours (lecture and lab) of engineering courses per academic year, attend and participate in department and university functions and serve on committees as required. The position will involve the development of courses and concentrations as part of our new B.S. in Engineering program.
