Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill a full-time, tenure track faculty position. This position will be located at Regent University’s Virginia Beach, VA campus.
Regent University is one of the nation’s leading academic centers for Christian thought and action, offering over 95 associate, bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees and enrolling more than 10,000 students worldwide. Regent offers high-quality, in demand and affordable degree programs while remaining committed to its foundational mission to educate Christian leaders to change the world.
Qualifications: Qualified applicants should have Ph.D. in History from a recognized and accredited university. ABD will be considered. Applicants should have the ability to teach courses in US History and Western Civilization. Specializations in US History to 1865 or Atlantic World preferred, but not required. History is a growing major at Regent, with numerous course offerings in American, European, and World History. Experience with online instructional technology is preferred.
