CCCU institutions are located around the world. Though they are diverse in size, scope, and mission, they are each committed to faith-integrated higher education.
Develop and oversee faculty teaching assignments and class schedules.
Develop, interpret, and administer college policy.
Provide leadership in the development, revision, and interpretation of curriculum, academic programs, catalog, and course information.
Provide leadership in generating staff development opportunities for faculty and staff.
Coordinate efforts to acquire and maintain accreditation.
Develop occupational program goals and objectives and monitor outcomes.
Evaluate the performance of faculty and staff in assigned areas of responsibility.
Assist in the coordination of fall and spring scheduling and staff assignments for all areas of responsibility.
Provide academic leadership for instructors with curriculum maintenance and development within areas of responsibility.
Assist in the resolution of challenges that impede student learning.
Coordinate supervision for student activities related to the academic day.
Monitor attendance requirements.
Oversee the collection, entry, and verification of educational management information and student data.
Develop and update a long-range plan for the instructional program that is aligned with the college’s strategic plan.
Work with the Dean of Students and enrollment services to coordinate student retention efforts and enrollment management in accordance to the college’s strategic plan.
Work closely with the Dean of Students, residential life staff, faculty, and other appropriate staff in support of student development and learning.
Participate in the recruitment, selection, orientation, and evaluation of teaching staff including faculty and paraprofessionals.
Coordinate the assessments of prospective students in order to determine and communicate their fit for Shepherds College.
Interact with prospective students, parents, educators, and other stakeholders.
Monitor and approve purchase orders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Born-again Christian committed to a church
Master’s degree is preferred; Higher Education major is a plus
Five years of full-time experience in teaching and/or administration (including at least three years of leadership experience)
Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic and disability-related needs of college students and faculty
Must be a quality educator with a commitment to student learning,
Effective communicator; including verbal and written communication,
Strong organizational skills
High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Shepherds College is the country's leading three-year post-secondary educational program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are a faith-based non-for-profit organization and we have a passion for helping our students be successful and sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Our students come from all around the globe and we are growing every year, with 2019 - 2020 being our largest incoming group of 38 freshman and a total enrollment of 90 students! Shepherds College exists to educate and train students with intellectual disabilities by equipping them to reach Appropriate Independence™ through the development of vocational, social and life skills while inspiring a lasting awareness of God’s plan for their lives.
