The Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. School of Business at Palm Beach Atlantic University seeks an exemplary leader as the next dean. The ideal candidate will possess skills in the documentation, planning, goal-setting, reporting and reviewing of academic, fundraising and awareness building achievements; demonstrated experience in providing high levels of cooperation and innovation as an academic leader; and a cooperative spirit and active engagement in participative governance, sustaining collegial relationships with faculty, staff and other administrators.
Education and Experience Desired
Eligibility for appointment as associate or full professor in an academic department of the School
Experience in the area of adult education and non-traditional learners
Demonstrated achievements in teaching at the undergraduate level
Budget management skills
Demonstrated ability in working effectively with faculty, students, and administrators
Experience and appreciation for shared governance
Appropriate scholarship/publications or significant executive experience
Demonstrated ability to give leadership to program growth and development
Commitment to and an identification with the Christian dimension of the University
