The Director of International Student and Academic Services at Trinity has primary responsibility for maintaining an international school of record partnerships through the Office of the Registrar and for directing structures of support for enrolled international students at Trinity.

Serve as the primary designated school official (PDSO), acting as the primary point of contact for initial and active status international students, as well as directing the work of the international student team. The international student team, led by this position, oversees all elements of the enrolled international student experience (e.g., international student orientation, maintaining status, providing international student-specific programming, program completion and OPT).
Work collaboratively with admissions to support the recruitment of international students (e.g., writing initial I-20s, participating in international recruiting trips, working with international recruiters, developing strategies for expansion of international student enrollment)
Manage academic processes with the school of record partners (e.g., student applications and course registrations, faculty course grades, issuing transcripts)
Oversee key elements of partnership relationships (e.g., acting as the primary point of communication between Trinity and partners, invoicing and billing, managing the curriculum review process, carrying out onsite program evaluations)
Developing additional SOR relationships, serving as initial contact; taking the program through initial self-study, review, and curriculum approval process; and generating and taking MOU through revision and then approval by Provost
Other duties as assigned
The Director of International Student and Academic Services will oversee the work of the International Student Team. The Director will also have a student intern to assist with international student orientation and student programming.

Extensive computer work in an office setting is required.
Travel is required: at least one international trip each year and participation in the annual conference for international educators
Evening and weekend work should be expected, particularly during peak transition times (orientation, registration, etc.)
This will begin as a 30-hour position, with the expectation that it will expand to a full 40-hour position within 18 months, based on operational goals.
Qualification and Education Requirements
The candidate must be a confessing Christian, actively engaged in a local congregation, committed to the whole-person formation of students and a comprehensive vision of God’s redeeming work in the world.
Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred
The candidate must have at least two years’ experience living and working internationally.
The candidate must be eligible to serve as a P/DSO. Previous experience with SEVIS and advising F visa holders is also required.
The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, communicating via email and other electronic means, by phone, and in person.
The candidate should have experience working in a college or university setting. Curriculum development and/or program review experience is preferred.
Excellent word processing, spreadsheet, and database skills are required.
Experience maintaining a department budget is required.
Strong organizational skills are required, as well as the ability to work accurately with detailed information.
