Faculty Careers - Business, Faculty Careers - Other
A full-time position in Business Marketing, at the assistant or associate level, starting AY 2020-2021. This faculty member will teach in the Business Department with primary teaching responsibilities within the Marketing major.
Teach undergraduate courses in the Business Department, with primary focus in Marketing; including (but not limited to) courses in Marketing Principles, Social Media Content, Digital Marketing, Event Planning, Business Communications, as well as other courses identified by the department.
Meet program goals (within face-to-face and online environments) through creative pedagogies, interactive discussions, reflective assignments/assessments, and experiential learning opportunities.
Mentor and advise undergraduate students in the Marketing major and serve as a team player by collaborating with faculty to foster student and program success.
Conduct scholarly work in the form of research and/or service to the profession, and maintain active memberships in relevant professional associations/organizations.
Be committed to excellence in teaching and academic advising, collaborative curriculum development, and service on departmental, college, and university committees.
An earned terminal degree (master’s degree, doctorate preferred,) in Business Administration, Marketing, MBA, or related field.
A commitment to the Mission, Educational Goals, and Community Standards of the University
Support Christian liberal arts education, with the ability to integrate faith in the discipline in an engaging and compelling manner
Collaborative skills to work with colleagues in the Department and throughout the University
