Milligan College in Northeast Tennessee invites applications for a full-time tenure track professor position in Nursing at the assistant professor level, to begin fall 2019. Primary responsibilities include classroom teaching, clinical supervision, and mentoring of BSN students caring for childbearing and adult medical patients. Student advising and providing service on campus-wide and Area of Nursing committees is also expected.
The candidate must have a minimum of Master of Science in Nursing. Preference will be given to applicants with a terminal degree (applicants with candidate status will be considered). Only applicants with a recent and strong clinical background in maternal child nursing will be considered. Classroom and clinical teaching experience in undergraduate nursing is preferred.
An interest in integrating faith and learning in a liberal arts environment is essential.
