Administrative Careers - Information Systems/Technology
The Salesforce System Administrator is part of the Management Information Sysytem (MIS ) team and serves as the primary system administrator for the Salesforce organization dedicated to the College of Undergraduate Studies (CUS). The Salesforce System Administrator will need a strong technical aptitude, as they are responsible for the CUS Salesforce environment; along with certain designated third party connected business applications; including, but not limited to Pardot, Ingenius, Mogli, Enrollment Rx, and other related resources.
Duties and Responsibilities
Function as institutional expert on Salesforce for the College of Undergraduate Studies (CUS).
Manage totality of the Salesforce ecosystem for CUS from implementation of new features to support of end users to ensure high adoption levels of functionality and features.
Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests to meet the unique business needs of CCU and CUS.
Create and document requirements by working with those involved in the development of program enhancements and changes including internal and external resources.
Provide application users with technical support where needed.
Communicate system functionality and enhancements to Salesforce users.
Work closely with the CUS community to translate business needs into business processes and into detailed CRM requirements.
Stay current on Salesforce releases and evaluate new features as they are deployed.
Maintain strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices.
Contribute to driving adoption, user training, and value for the organization

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
Excellent project management skills and a positive, encouraging attitude.
Analytical and creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Salesforce Certified System Administrator or willingness to gain certification.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization: orally and in writing.
Keen attention to detail.
Ability to critically evaluate business requests from the underlying true needs of the organization.
Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on the Salesforce platform and all related systems and processes.
Able to adapt and learn different software packages as technology needs change.
Nature of Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to walk, stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, speak with clarity, and have appropriate vision and hearing capabilities. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. You may be required to work occasional irregular hours, including some nights and weekends. Colorado Christian University expects all faculty and staff to become a part of the University community by participating in activities and events that occur on the campus throughout the year, which may occur during evenings and weekends.
