The student life division at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, is looking to hire a full-time (10-month) resident director for Stegenga Hall (192 women). We are looking for someone committed to our mission of “forming students for faithful, flourishing lives of service to God, one another and the world.” We are seeking professionals who:
Embrace Northwestern College's educational mission and further that mission in the residential context
Have a passion for building relationships with traditional-aged college students and leading them toward holistic development
Exemplify the spiritual maturity, emotional intelligence and leadership skills necessary to contribute to a cohesive and professional residence life staff
Candidates should possess a B.A. degree and residence life experience. A master’s degree in higher education or a related field with professional experience in residence life is preferred.

Multi-Ethnic Resource Committee (MERC)
A 10-member team of faculty, staff and students, the Multi-Ethnic Resource Committee promotes the biblical values of intercultural competence and racial reconciliation. The committee works to strengthen multicultural education and awareness through student programs, curriculum development, diversity training, and campus-wide structural change. It also supports the recruitment and retention of an ethnically diverse faculty, staff, Board of Trustees and student body.
