The School of Communication and Media at Palm Beach Atlantic University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Communication beginning August 2019. The successful candidate will teach courses in one or more of the following areas: public speaking, rhetoric, argumentation and debate, and mediation and conflict resolution. Other assignments are possible, including coaching the university’s new debate and forensics team. The assistant or associate professor will also engage in curriculum and course development, student advisement, and university service. Those with experience working with a forensics program or functioning as a mentor to students in such programs are especially encouraged to submit applications.
