Grace College invites applications and nominations for the position of assistant professor in biology, with emphasis in anatomy and physiology. Responsibilities include teaching, advising, department and college service, scholarly activity, and professional development.

Grace is starting a new engineering department and is looking for passionate professors to join this effort. The successful candidate will assist in developing classes and lab experiences for our Mechanical Engineering students. This position will also help in preparing this department to receive ABET accreditation. The Engineering department desires an intimate connection to the surrounding community and this position will need to continue to grow this connection.
Qualifications: This position offers a challenging opportunity to a faculty member who seeks to help build a new department. The successful candidate will have:
A PhD in mechanical engineering or an allied field
Expertise in Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and/or Fluid Dynamics
Evidence of excellence in teaching with a minimum of five years at the college level
Experience in course design and curriculum development
Industry experience is desired
A desire to integrate faith with learning in all areas of life
A willingness to collaborate with colleagues and students
