King University seeks an Area Coordinator. Reporting to the Coordinator of Residence Life, the Area Coordinator (AC) position is a 10-month, full-time, live-in, professional position responsible for the administration of residence halls and related duties in support of the Residence Life Program.
The AC establishes and maintains a living-learning environment conducive to personal growth and academic achievement. In addition to salary, an apartment, utilities, cell phone, and full meal plan are included. Bachelor's degree required. Demonstrated sensitivity to students from diverse socioeconomic, racial, ethnic, and disability backgrounds. Previous residence hall experience with a concentration on programming required. Candidates should be well-organized, capable of managing detailed operations, and willing to develop and maintain a team work atmosphere within the department.
