REDEEMER UNIVERSITY COLLEGE invites applications for a limited-term position in the Department of Education beginning August 1, 2019 and ending April 30, 2020.
The ideal applicant will hold a Ph.D, in the field of Education. In addition, applicants will have significant K-12 teaching experience, and the ability to teach courses in literacy, educational development, learning and teaching, differentiated instruction, and math or science. Applicants are also required to possess knowledge of the current Ontario Ministry of Education K-12 curricula and educational policies, and experience in supervising students on practicum.
As a liberal arts and sciences undergraduate university rooted in the Reformed tradition of Christianity, we seek candidates committed to teaching and pursuing scholarship within this framework. Interested applicants should submit a letter of application, C.V., evidence of teaching quality, a 1-2 page statement describing their faith commitment and how it relates to their academic work, and 3 letters of reference.
