Candidates should be educated and experienced in Design Thinking and Human Centered Design and be able to teach interdisciplinary courses within the Creativity and Innovation Honors Institute (CIHI), Design and Innovation courses within the Engineering Major, and/or courses related to the Creativity and Innovation Minor. Other responsibilities include scholarly engagement in the candidate’s specialization area, academic advising, and student recruitment. The successful candidate should possess a relevant advanced degree – Masters or above (MFA, MBA, etc), and/or have relevant experience and certification in Creativity, Innovation and Design Thinking. The ability to engage and teach the Great Books is desirable but not required. The candidate must also give evidence of scholarly potential, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in various methods of undergraduate teaching (i.e. Problem-based learning, experiential learning, etc.)
