Anderson University’s School of Physical Therapy is seeking physical therapists with a heart for teaching, service and scholarship to join the faculty as an Assistant or Associate Professor. The program is the newest addition to Anderson’s College of Health Professions and is located at the University Center Greenville Campus in Greenville, SC. Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, liberal arts university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. Qualified individuals must possess a current physical therapy license in the U.S., an academic doctoral degree and at least 2 years of prior clinical or academic experience. Clinical expertise in acute care or cardiopulmonary specialty are highly desired. Rank and salary are negotiable depending on the applicant’s credentials and prior teaching experience. The DPT program will be applying for candidacy status with CAPTE in December 2018 in hopes of admitting its charter class in the summer of 2019. Thus, interested applicants should have some familiarity with the accreditation process and possess educational skills needed to develop new course materials.
