The Web Manager is a member of the IWU-Marion marketing team and is responsible for executing and managing day-to-day functions of IWU’s residential campus website with a focus on user experience, digital design and front-end development. The Web Manager will envision and design user-friendly web/landing pages and information- driven interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) that effectively further the mission of the IWU-Marion campus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the residential web team and marketing (graphic designers, copywriters, social media, etc.) in the creation of visual direction and web strategy with an emphasis on the admissions process.
Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing and ability to integrate and track lead generation activities.
Develop graphical web images, UI elements, icons, fonts, templates, style guides etc. and implement appropriate brand design standards to enhance user experience and increase visitor traffic to residential websites.
Participate in creating web team processes and digital strategy for various websites and sections of websites.
Maintain and enhance residential campus digital displays including Admissions Visit Wall and Library Kiosk.
Research and develop digital app and digital admissions platform for prospective student engagement.
Foster strong relationships with divisions and departments to guide and assist with web needs and evaluate projects and their effectiveness.
Lead and manage the design and scheduling process from consulting with clients and concept creation to on-time delivery of projects.
Recognize and move quickly between projects with varying degrees of structure.
Keep up with current trends and technologies related to the visual arts and web design.
Assist in development and maintenance of web assets
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.

Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Internet Development or comparable
Demonstrated experience with the design process from initial client consulting to concept creation to delivery and post project follow up.
Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.
Organizational skills; ability to strategically prioritize a large volume of project requests
Highly creative; ability to give and receive constructive criticism throughout the creative process
Ability to work independently within a highly collaborative team.
Ability to effectively communicate with a broad spectrum of university stakeholders
Experience in and desire to grow in the following areas: Digital Strategic Planning, Web Development, App Development, Graphic Design, UI/UX Design and Creative Direction.
Experience with Cascade Server CMS
Exposure to web marketing and e-commerce.
Experience in a MAC OSX environment and with Adobe Creative Suite.
Working digital portfolio of designs.
