Grove City College invites applications for a permanent faculty position in the Department of History, with a specialization in modern Europe (1750-present) and some expertise in a non-Western field to begin in August 2019. A doctorate in History is required. Responsibilities include teaching courses in European and non-Western history at the 200 and 300-level, as well as offering a Western Civ course in the College’s interdisciplinary Humanities sequence.
Preference will be given to those who have a strong record of scholarship within their field. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to instructing and advising highly motivated students at a Christian liberal arts institution.
