King University's School of Nursing is accepting applications for a full-time Associate Dean position to collaborate with the Dean of the School of nursing to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of program courses and curricula across various platforms and locations. The Associate Dean will have primary responsibility for oversight of the undergraduate programs. The Associate Dean is accountable to provide leadership in the creation and maintenance of an environment conducive to teaching and learning, and optimal student outcomes. The Associate Dean assists in on-going and annual program evaluation activities to measure program-level outcomes and identify performance improvements. The Associate Dean will participate in review of faculty annual planning/goals and to assist in mid-year evaluations. In the absence of the Dean, the Associate Dean is accountable for the administrative responsibilities of the School of Nursing and/or to be delegated responsibilities as is reasonable and necessary.
MSN with a terminal degree in nursing or related field required. Applicants with extensive higher education leadership experience and who are currently enrolled in a terminal degree program with target completion within two years will also be considered. Unencumbered RN licensure in TN/multistate required or eligible. 5 years full-time teaching and/or administrative experience.
