Reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions for Operations, the Communication Specialist is a 32 hour/week position that manages the daily coordination and delivery of marketing content and communications and supports all aspects of operations processing. Performs data processing work supporting the communication flow and e-marketing functions including but not limited to, admissions and financial aid data, digital and printed communication flow, applications, and reports. The Communications Specialist uses all admissions software and systems, primarily the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and student information systems (Salesforce and Ellucian Recuiter) to support recruitment efforts. This role is responsible for the implementation of communications to meet the designed communication strategy. The Communications Specialist will serve as a member of the Admission Operations team; assist with data management, events, and travel materials; and supervise student staff who support the operations area.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
One-three years of computer information systems, communications, marketing operations, or other related field experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Familiarity with operational database, CRM systems, and basic Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word).
Familiarity with Ellucian Recruiter and/or Salesforce desired.
Ability to work independently and adhere to strict deadlines.
