Oklahoma Baptist University College of Graduate and Professional Studies is seeking a candidate to manage the workflow and institutional instructional design for the online course efforts at OBU. Partnering with Subject Matter Experts (SME), the instructional designer will design and develop course delivery and instructional materials in support of online teaching efforts and cohesive, innovative online course offerings.
Manage the flow of instructional design work, including flow of work, intake of project, along with timeline assignment and achievement of individual course development deadlines.
Responsible for facilitating Canvas LMS support for OBU faculty; troubleshooting technical issues, implementation and ongoing support of LMS tools
Provide programmatic oversight and institutional vision for cohesive design and deployment of online courses
Create the design template for new courses and majors/programs and enhance and improve existing online course offerings

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced expertise in instructional design principles, learning theory (andragogy/pedagogy), and student learning processes.
Proven skill in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with faculty in multiple academic areas and the ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects
Ability to create online courses, utilize LMS course management systems.
Experience with Canvas LMS a plus.
Master's degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction or related field required.
Special Requirements: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate commitment to the ideals of Christian Liberal Arts education and will be an active member of an evangelical congregation
Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with experience.
