To advance the purpose of InterVarsity, this position will lead the Information Technology Services department, providing vision and strategic leadership to leverage the effective use of enterprise architecture and technology across the Fellowship. This position will be the most senior IT person in the organization and will be responsible for establishing strategic partnerships with senior leaders across the Fellowship to deliver and maintain technology resources and services that accelerate the ministry of InterVarsity. This position will be located at InterVarsity's National Service Center in Madison, WI.

Provide vision, strategic leadership, planning, decision making and guidance for IT Services team.
As a member of the National Leadership Team (NLT), lead culture change around Digital Transformation initiatives and the utilization of technology to accelerate ministry on campus through strategic partnerships, excellent customer service and proactive value adding activities.
Architect and implement the technology roadmap to help us achieve our long range plan. Guide our implementation of Salesforce and accelerate our user experience with our Workday implementation.
Lead our IT services team through significant transformation- expanding scope, improving service, and driving stronger infrastructure.
Help our development team to fundraise for larger technology projects and raise an agreed upon amount of personal support.

Thorough knowledge of or the ability to learn: the purpose, vision, ministries and policies of InterVarsity.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s or equivalent preferred.
A significant combination of information technology knowledge, skills, and experience is required to successfully perform the responsibilities of this role. A typical way of gaining these qualifications would be: a Bachelor's degree, an advanced degree in information technology, computer science, or business administration, a minimum of 10 years of related experience, including at least five years of senior management experience (or equivalent).
Significant theological acuity and spiritual maturity.
Demonstrated experience as a senior leader in managing and implementing successful, comprehensive programs to achieve goals.
Demonstrated ability in leading and developing a strong IT team and in communicating technology vision across a large organization.
Leadership skills, including negotiation, problem solving, decision making, and delegation.
Passion and experience in coaching and leading is required; passion and experience in coaching and leading women and ethnic minority persons is strongly preferred.
Strong analytical and strategic skills with a high capacity for managing complexity.
Strong financial acumen. Experience preparing and managing department and project budgets.
A working knowledge of Salesforce and current Microsoft software applications required, Workday or other cloud-based ERP system experience preferred.
Willingness to travel.
