The Brand Manager serves as the brand steward for ACU Online, ensuring all marketing assets and the representation of ACU in all marketing materials meets the standards of the university. The Brand Manager manages or collaborates across all marketing activity for ACU Online.
I. Basic Responsibilities: A. Collaborate on the management of all marketing campaigns, working with the AVP of Marketing to ensure lead generation and brand awareness goals are met B. Manage ACU Online social media and blog C. Develop marketing materials that align with brand strategy and effectively communicate the ACU Online offering D. Collaborate with the Enrollment team to ensure brand integrity across departmental platforms (Salesforce and Marketo) E. Work with the ACU Online marketing agency partner to ensure all CRM data and reporting needs are met.
II. Essential Duties:
A. Collaborate on the management of all marketing campaigns, working with the AVP of Marketing to ensure lead generation and brand awareness goals are met 1. Lead generation — PPC, Affiliate and In-Bound SEO 2. Brand Awareness — Radio, Outdoor (other traditional media) 3. Creative development of videos
B. Manage ACU Online social media and blog 1. Manage the marketing agency partner in the ongoing efforts in social media and the ACU online blog 2. Identify Dallas campus events/activities that are appropriate for social media and proactively post on Facebook 3. Create and develop an Instagram presence for ACU Online 4. Continue growing the ACU Online presence on LinkedIn 5. Manage blog post activity with marketing agency partner
C. Develop marketing materials that align with brand strategy and effectively communicate the ACU Online offering 1. Create program brochures for use by marketing and enrollment 2. Create event materials 3. Collaborate on website content
III. Professional Development Requirements:
A. Skills 1. In-bound marketing platform experience. Marketo preferred. 2. Adept in Adobe Creative Cloud 3. Experience working in a CRM platform. Salesforce preferred. 4. Adept in Excel, Word, PPT
B. Training Modules Required 1. On-boarding (week 1) 2. Marketo 3. Salesforce
A. Professional 1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or similar 2. Demonstrated ability to create and deliver on effective marketing campaigns 3. Excellent written and oral communication skills
B. Personal 1. Strategic thinker and problem solver 2. Ability to work well individually for periods of time, and collaboratively with team members 3. Capable of working with other teams/departments in the collection and development of relevant marketing communications.
