The Director of Corporate & Educational Partnerships represents and promotes Anderson University’s adult and graduate programs through the strategic cultivation of effective relationships with prospective students, human resource managers and other corporate contacts. The Director researches corporations for recruitment and partnership viability and calls daily on companies and corporations to increase Anderson University (AU) student enrollment in programs assigned. The Director also develops and maintains relationships with technical college and four-year college contacts.
The Director of Corporate & Educational Partnerships will utilize multiple recruiting and professional networking strategies, including: career fairs, business expos, LinkedIn, networking with technical and four-year college advisors and academic department heads, HR directors, businesses, schools, churches and other organizations to increase awareness and interest in AU programs.
Market the University’s academic programs to prospective adult and graduate students from two-year technical colleges, adult education or career service programs, other colleges and universities, businesses, churches and area organizations creating and implementing presentations, personal visits, telephone, email, social media, events and mailings.
Develop leads and convert corporations to engage with AU in a corporate partnership offering university programs at a discounted rate.
Research and cultivate relationships with corporations, hospitals and other business contacts which reimburse for employee education.
Work with marketing team in the development of marketing materials required to promote programs and corporate partnerships.
Actively work with corporate partners to market and engage their employees in the process of seeking appropriate educational goals.
Develop strategies to network and create a pool of inquiries with which to recruit the desired number of applicants and new students for each program and term launch.
Identify and communicate any hurdles that impede enrollment into adult and graduate programs.
Be persistent in communicating with potential students via phone, email, text and face-to-face to convert inquiries to applications for enrollment.
Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries and corporate partners.
Schedule and conduct informational sessions for potential students either in person or in via web conference.
Track the student application process through the Slate CRM using provided tools to identify opportunities to move inquires to the application stage.
Provide excellent customer service and timely response to inquiries.
Work in cooperation with Enrollment Coordinators, financial aid, office of the registrar and other university personnel to facilitate enrollment.
Create and implement a travel schedule to regularly visit businesses, schools, churches, non-profits, technical colleges and other organizations to promote the university.
Regularly participate in area of Chamber of Commerce or community events that would support enrollment goals.
Research and implement strategic membership in local/regional organizations to increase awareness of adult and graduate programs, subject to the review of institutional leadership.
Create strategies to generate interest in Anderson University and to ensure an adequate number of applications to meet enrollment goals for assigned programs.
Create and implement policies and improvements related to all aspects of the recruiting process for adult and graduate students.
Regularly communicate trends, recommend enhancements to existing programs and suggest new programs to institutional leadership.
Report weekly on recruitment activities, corporate partnerships and current enrollment progress.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. Master’s Degree is preferred. Members of the team should be committed to a strong Christian value system and lifestyle. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well within a team, and good organizational skills are required. Interpersonal skills and the ability to connect, motivate, and inspire people are essential. Recruiting/sales experience is preferred.
