Full-time faculty position. 9 month position with some additional work in summers, position starts August 2018.
Selected persons will teach special education courses (undergraduate and online graduate) for the School of Education, on and off-campus, advise students, participate in curriculum planning, serve on special education committees/task forces and University committees, supervise student teachers, and participate in the University’s Core and Cross Cultural Studies Program.
Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Special Education, Certification in Learning Disabilities and/or ASD preferred. An ABD or master’s degree with extensive teaching experience will be considered.
A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the K-12 and/or college level is expected. Other relevant work will be considered as value added.
Candidates should be proficient in adaptive technology and are expected to demonstrate strong oral, written, and computer communication skills.
