Trevecca Nazarene University invites applications for the position of adjunct faculty for a Healthcare Administration face-to-face undergraduate program. Classes meet one night a week from 6:00-10:00 P.M. for six (6) consecutive weeks. Trevecca seeks instructors with experience working in accelerated, adult studies programs who understand the market-driven nature of those programs. Adjunct faculty are scheduled to fill classes on an as-needed basis.
Location: Face-to-Face; Duluth, GA and College Park, GA
·Master’s degree in Health Care Administration, Health Management, Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration, or related discipline.
·Master’s degree other than healthcare administration or health management must have 18 graduate hours specific to the discipline of health administration or health management.
·A minimum of 3-5 years of healthcare management or leadership experience.
·Applicants must be in agreement with the University’s theological tradition and mission statement and be willing to sign the University’s statement of faith.
·Ability to create positive relationships with adult learners, to communicate effectively in a timely manner across multiple mediums, to design engaging classroom activities, and to utilize classroom technology
·Commitment to the mission of Trevecca Nazarene University
·Terminal degree in Healthcare Administration, health management, or related discipline
·Previous instructional experience with adult learners in accelerated programs
Available Courses: Health Finance, Introduction to Healthcare, Strategic Management, Health Policy, Legal Aspects of Healthcare, Ethics in Health Administration, Quality Initiatives and Health Administration, Electronic Health Records, Long-term Care in America, Palliative Care and Hospice Care, Conflict and Change Management, and Information Systems and Informatics.

·Create syllabus for classes for students
·Submit updated syllabus to program director 2 weeks before scheduled course
·Successfully complete a two (2) week online orientation course
·Attend selected faculty meetings
·Submit grades within two weeks of class end (no exceptions)
·Communicate with program director at least quarterly and on an as needed basis.
·Abide by all relevant University/department procedures and policies.
