The goal of the Dual Credit department is to provide high schools, both nationally and internationally, the ability to offer CCU dual credit courses for their students. The dual credit program is a relationship-based partnership with both Christian and public high schools built on offering affordable dual credit college courses for families as well as autonomy for partner schools in their dual credit program.
The Dual Credit Representative (DCR) role encompasses travel to partner schools for course registration, back-to-school nights, and course evaluations. The DCR will communicate with both students and school contacts in all aspects of the program including transcript requests, course registration troubleshooting, course application process and requirements, and resolving issues. This position requires an understanding of secondary education and high school curriculum. The DCR will be involved in active high school recruitment utilizing marketing strategies set in place by the Director. The DCR will create public speaking presentations for school functions and be able to answer all questions in regard to the CCU dual credit program.
Ultimately, this position is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with current schools, recruiting new schools, and promoting the University dual credit program to high school students and their families. This role suits someone who is a self-starter, likes to travel, and can make independent decisions that lead schools into partnership with CCU in offering approved dual credit courses to students.
