The Executive Assistant provides project support and executive level administrative assistance directly to the Vice President of Academic Affairs (VPAA) for the College of Undergraduate Studies (CUS). This includes planning and coordinating numerous key academic efforts, activities, and events throughout the year. The Executive Assistant also filters and assists with the VPAA’s schedule and communications with the deans, faculty, students, and other university departments. The Executive Assistant prepares Academic Affairs reports for the Board of Trustees and management; organizes and maintains multiple types of academic records for the office.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience working in an executive office.
Bachelor’s degree and experience working in a Christian university are preferred.
Christian maturity, servant attitude, and character; able to discreetly handle confidential information.
Independent worker, yet able to work in a team environment.
Detail-oriented, excellent time management skills, and able to prioritize.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Able to take initiative and be a self-starter.
Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher.
Flexible, dependable, and trustworthy with highly sensitive information.
