The College seeks a Chief Operations Officer to provide strategic/physical plant and financial management to the operations of the college. The COO oversees accounting, student billing, facilities, human resource functions, information technology and relationships with outside contractors including dining services. The successful candidate will also be an important member of the leadership team, providing analytical and forward-looking support for future plans. Taking charge of the budget process and ensuring contemporary reporting on performance against the plan is a critical part of this position’s tasks.
Because of the mission and ministry of CCC, this position’s salary is in the range of fifty thousand dollars. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
At least eight years of progressive financial responsibility in a non-profit environment
Extensive experience in accounting, analysis and financial reporting
A practical understanding of human resource and contractual issues
Solid interpersonal skills with a variety of constituencies
A demonstrated vital faith
A CPA and/or MBA
Financial experience in higher education
Willingness to relocate to McPherson
