Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan invites applications for a traditional undergraduate faculty position in Economics to begin fall 2018. The position is classified as a full-time tenure-track faculty role with rank and base salary dependent upon educational and professional qualifications, along with experience. Candidates should be able to teach both introductory and advanced courses in macroeconomics and microeconomics; course load may also include economic development, money and banking, and econometrics. Other responsibilities include scholarly engagement in the candidate’s specialization area, academic advising, student recruitment, and other departmental duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will possess a relevant advanced degree, give evidence of scholarly potential, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, including the integration of faith in learning. A Ph.D. in Economics is preferred; individuals with a Master’s degree in Economics or an MBA with a concentration in Economics will be considered. If applicable, please submit any evidence of successful past teaching experience such as course evaluations or students’ work.
