Half time (0.5) to three-quarters time (0.75) tenure track position in the Department of Nursing, beginning August, 2018. The department of nursing offers a professional program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
Responsibility for teaching both the classroom and clinical components of course(s). Faculty members have additional responsibility for student advisement, college and department service, and scholarly and professional achievement.

Trinity Christian College is a four-year liberal arts college located in Palos Heights, Illinois, a suburb twenty miles southwest of Chicago. Since its founding in 1959, Trinity has provided its students with an excellent Christian higher education in the Reformed tradition. The College enrollment in the traditional program is about 1,100 with a vibrant residential program. We offer majors in the arts, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, as well as professional programs in accounting and business administration, nursing, education, computer science, pre-medicine, and pre-law. Trinity also offers master’s programs in counseling psychology and special education as well as degree completion programs in education and business. Trinity Christian College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association.
A doctorate in nursing or a related area is preferred. A master’s degree in nursing and current unencumbered licensure as a professional nurse in Illinois is required.
Work experience as an adult health nurse is required. Additional clinical experience in mental health/ behavioral health preferred by not required. Successful experience in teaching at the baccalaureate level is desirable.
