Aviation Site Director
The McKinney Aviation Site Director is a full-time staff member and responsible for the administration of the McKinney, TX, based global (non-traditional) programs for the College of Aviation and Aeronautical Science. This position will be responsible for leading and overseeing the non-traditional programs offered by the College of Aviation in McKinney, TX.
Twelve-month administrative and faculty. Administrative duties, and other responsibilities primarily occur during regular business hours on weekdays, but additional hours and flexibility that can include evenings and weekends may be required.
Oversee the day-to-day program operations at the College of Aviation’s McKinney campus and is responsible for the well-being of the program as it relates to the mission of the school.
Work with the Vice President for Global Operations, the Dean of Aviation, alumni and university development offices to create appropriate relationships with internal and external partners to strengthen the university, its programs and students.
Support the Vice President for Global Operations and the Dean of Aviation in developing and executing a goal-driven enrollment plan, including marketing, recruitment, retention, graduation rates within the university’s global degree programs.
May be required to teach aviation courses via on-ground, online, or hybrid delivery methods.
Work with faculty and staff to develop and maintain a communication plan with existing and potential students throughout the year, especially during summer months.
Coordinate all program planning and evaluation activities, including program goals and strategies from the school’s strategic plan; oversight of periodic program reviews.
Work with the Dean of Aviation, department chairs and faculty in the development of new programs and curriculum for on-ground, on-line, and hybrid courses.
Develop annual budget requests for the program and administer program budget accounts.
Represent the school’s interests in both internal and external endeavors, including coordinating program advisory boards; serving as a liaison between the program and other campus constituencies; and participating in community events in which the program is represented.
Actively pursue relationships with students, faculty, and staff, encouraging the accomplishment of the purpose and mission of LeTourneau University and the College of Aviation and Aeronautical Science.
Participate in normal college activities related to a staff position.

Minimum professional qualifications are:
B.S. degree in aviation (Masters is desired)
Expertise in an aviation related field
