Williams Baptist University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position (9 month appointment) in mathematics. The position will begin in fall of 2018.
Qualifications: A master's is required (doctorate preferred)
Responsibilities: Duties will include teaching a variety of mathematics classes including College Algebra, Trigonometry, Foundations of Geometry, and Calculus. The successful candidate should have an interest in working with a range of students, from those who struggle with math to those needing rigorous preparation for professional and graduate programs. If desired, applicant could have opportunities to teach business, computer science, or other courses in an area of interest in addition to math classes. Additionally, the successful candidate should have an interest in helping to grow and develop the mathematics program within the Natural Sciences department. This position is located within the Natural Sciences Department, not under a separate Mathematics department, and the successful candidate will have an influential role in shaping the future of mathematics at WBU.
