Are you equipped to instruct others in the knowledge, skills and practices desirable in the field of sport management?
If so, the Toccoa Falls College Business Administration Department invites your application for a full-time faculty position in Sport Management. This position starts August, 2018. Faculty rank and status will be determined at the time of appointment based upon degree, experience, and record of scholarship.
Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include teaching traditional undergraduate courses, student advising, and service to the college and department. Candidates should be able to teach courses in the various business areas of sport management. The typical teaching load is 12 credit-hours per semester.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will hold an earned Ph.D. or D.B.A. from a regionally accredited university in Sport Management; possess professional management experience; and be academically and/or professionally qualified by current SACSCOC standards. Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level is highly desirable. Exceptional applicants with a masters’ degree in Sport Management or related filed will be considered.
Toccoa Falls College is a Christ-centered liberal arts college affiliated with the Christian & Missionary Alliance and located in the foothills of the northeast Georgia mountains, 95 miles north of Atlanta, GA and 65 miles south of Greenville, SC. The campus is situated on 1,100 beautiful acres and includes a 186’ high waterfall. The College is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU).
