Warner University, Lake Wales, Florida, seeks applications for a full-time faculty position in U.S. and World History. Teaching responsibilities would include general studies courses and upper-division courses. Preferred applicants will be able to teach in a variety of historical areas, such as African American history. The primary focus of Warner is on teaching and support of the student population. Warner is an evangelical Christian university affiliated with the Church of God, Anderson, Indiana. History: Warner University was founded in 1968 by the Church of God, Anderson, Indiana, as a liberal arts co-educational, Christian university. The campus was built on 300 acres donated by Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Holland. The first commencement took place in 1972 with four graduates. Warner’s third President, Dr. David A. Hoag, was inaugurated in the fall of 2016. He is preceded in leadership by only two others; Dr. Gregory V. Hall (1991 – 2016) and Dr. Leroy Fulton (1968 – 1991).
