Regent University’s School of Education is seeking an Assistant Professor for the Higher Education program. This is a full-time instructional, 12-month tenure-track position at Regent University’s main campus in Virginia Beach, VA. The candidate will serve as the Program Director for the Student Affairs and Higher Education Leadership and Management programs at both the master’s and post-master’s levels.

Qualifications: an earned doctorate in Higher Education or a related field. Experience as a higher education executive (e.g. vice president, program director, or faculty) highly preferred. The candidate will also have applied and advanced knowledge of research and assessment methodology, curriculum development, and assessment design. Experience working with diverse student populations is required with the ability to teach and evaluate student performances. The candidate will have exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills. The ideal candidate will also have a heart for the personal, spiritual, and professional development of students and faculty.
Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) facility with online instructional technology; and 5) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
