Montreat College seeks a dynamic leader for its adult undergraduate and graduate programs in business. The incumbent leader will serve as program director with a tenure-track teaching appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Business.
Provide vision and leadership for the Master of Science in Management and Leadership (MSML), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM), and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Develop a master plan for the future direction of the School of Adult and Graduate Studies business programs
Facilitate development and implementation of new direction and curriculum modifications to meet business and industry standards
Collaborate with existing faculty services and online education directors to serve, train and guide faculty in successful program management.
Participating with marketing and admissions personnel in recruitment and community development events in the business community.
Maintain a list of contacts in the business community with HR managers, business development directors and other pertinent contacts for recruitment of students and program development.
Serve on appropriate college committees as requested.
Other duties as assigned by the Vice President and Dean for the School of Adult and Graduate Studies.
An earned DBA (strongly preferred) or PhD from a regionally accredited college or university with a concentration in business or management.
A master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with 18 graduate credit hours in business administration or management coursework may be considered, if candidate has 5 or more years of teaching experience in postsecondary business courses.
Teaching experience in business at the postsecondary level is desired.
