Master’s degree (Doctorate preferred) in Computer Science or a closely related field
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job responsibilities include teaching computer science and information systems courses at various levels as well as mentoring students within the program and participating in the life of the division. In addition to general education courses, the Division of Mathematics and Computer Information Sciences offers majors in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Mathematics-Interdisciplinary, and Mathematics Education, as well as minors in Computer Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, and Statistics. The Division has 6.5 full-time faculty and approximately 60 majors.
This full-time position would begin in August 2017. Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. The final candidate selected must have the ability to pass a comprehensive background screen.
